Depackaging And Product Recovery

We provide depackaging and product recovery of all products determined to be of "customer defined standards" and place them into bulk shipping containers for the purpose of being stored and shipped to you for repacking.

Using packaging and/or shippers provided by the customer, we provide complete repackaging services. We can:

• visually inspect all repacked products
• replace individual carton and/or sleeve when necessary
• repack all products into new shipper
• seal cases
• apply product information and/or bar codes
• store, pick and shrink-wrap
• prepare all documents
• ship to designated destination

Automatic Returns Processing

Metropolitan developed a returns system process for customers with a high volume of returns. The process includes:

• verifying
• counting
• sorting returned products from customers on a box-by-box basis and returning this information to the customer
• repacking for products with damaged packing material

We process returns as they are received, so there is no presorting or identification needed before being presented to the returns system.

In addition to the above processes, the supervisor can also take care of daily tasks such as the following:

• printing of confirm reports (at any time, as indicated by the system)
• responding to queries from the outside with respect to data
• querying customer service for information on product rejected by system
• assuring the proper documentation and disposition of all rejected products
