Automatic Returns Processing

For customers who have a high volume of returns, Metropolitan developed a returns system process that includes:

• verifying
• counting
• sorting returned products from customers on a box-by-box basis and returning this information to the customer
• repacking for products with damaged packing material

Returns are processed as they are received and do not require any presorting or identification before being presented to the returns system.

Along with the above processes, the supervisor can also take care of the following daily tasks:

• printing of confirm reports (at any time, as indicated by the system)
• responding to queries from the outside with respect to data
• querying customer service for information on product rejected by system
• assuring the proper documentation and disposition of all rejected products

Depackaging And Product Recovery

We provide depackaging and product recovery of all products determined to be of "customer defined standards" and place them into bulk shipping containers for the purpose of being stored and shipped to you for repacking.

We provide repackage services using packaging and/or shippers provided by the customer. We can:

• visually inspect all repacked products
• replace individual carton and/or sleeve when necessary
• repack all products into new shipper
• seal cases
• apply product information and/or bar codes
• store, pick and shrink-wrap
• prepare all documents
• ship to designated destination
